Let's start out with pointing out the obvious: DigiForums is a crossover RP of all the Digimon Seasons. This RP takes place 7, going on 8, years later than the series, and so the characters ages have been changed to suit the time difference.
This is also a large amount of time that we have no idea what's happened with the characters, so you're allowed to create your own backstory. What happened to your character since their Digital World adventure? Have they pretty much stayed the same? Have they changed completely? Any specific events we should know about? You have free-reign with their past.
We've also set up enough areas to where you can RP whatever you like. Go to class. Have an after school club. Hang out after school. Go on a date. You can even have some Digital World adventures. Feel free to RP battles. It's all up to you!
Note:
If/When you decide to take a Digital World adventure...
If you're RPing a human from Adventure, 02, Tamers, Savers, or Xros Wars, you have control over your digimon partner. Unless you want to involve them. If you want to RP it with them, you're free to. (This goes for digimon too.)
If you're RPing a digimon, we won't make you need a human partner in the thread to Digivolve...even if you're supposed to be with a human. If you and another digimon want to go off and have an adventure on your own, go for it.
And of course, none of this matters for Frontier Digidestined because they become the digimon.
