Grinning inwardly, Masaru gave small nod if only to show that he had noticed the blonde's quiet mumble. Even though he still liked doing whatever he wanted better than listening to other people, he was more or less okay with playing by rules. This wasn't about fighting some Digimon or about showing off who was better. Tohma simply wanted to avoid any more trouble than he already had. "Wrong," Masaru shook his head before shrugging with nonchalance. "There are things even the great Masaru-sama worries about~" Chuckling light-hearted, the brunette smiled briefly. "But my worries are probably different than yours." He didn't have to worry about forced engagements or getting into fights with his father. Compared to Tohma's, his worries were... nothing, he figured.
Upon hearing Tohma's thanks, Masaru stared for a second before stammering voicelessly. It was weird hearing the other boy thank him like this. He didn't see anything thanks-worthy in making breakfast. "It's nothing," he said after having cleared his throat, shrugging shortly. "I'm only fulfilling my dare from yesterday," Masaru teased as he grinned softly. Of course the boy hadn't forgotten that he didn't accept Tohma's request as a dare, but saying it was easier than accepting the younger boy's thanks for something so simple.
Masaru nodded, more to himself than the other. Anything was a lot. "We should pick something easy then," he mumbled thoughtfully before shooting Tohma a challenging look. "Because you're going to help." Masaru didn't mind doing everything alone today, but he sure as hell wouldn't let Tohma stand around uselessly next time. "Ha?" Blinking with a puzzled expression, the brunette needed a few seconds to process Tohma's question before he felt his face heat up in embarrassment. "Sh-shut up, of course not!" he muttered quickly as he shook his head. "I'm not some kind of girl, tch..." The great Masaru-sama liking something as girly as cooking? No way. Slowly averting his eyes, he stared past Tohma at the kitchen counter-top. "Though I guess, you're.. the only person I'd willingly cook for," he mumbled slightly embarrassed, yet with an earnest smile. "So count yourself lucky."

"Oh, really?" Tohma asked with sincere curiosity. He hadn't been entirely serious when he said that Masaru didn't worry about anything, but he hadn't expected the other boy to be so honest about it. "If you mind me asking, but what about?" It was one of things that Tohma admired most about Masaru; despite the fact that the brunette often seemed all happy-go-lucky, he knew that inside Masaru really was kind. Probably kinder than he was. Tohma gave a genuine smile, taking Masaru's 'it's nothing' as a 'you're welcome.' "Request," Tohma corrected almost immediately, before taking another forkful of waffle into his mouth. Tohma hadn't thanked Masaru out of indifferent politeness like he usually did when he spoke; he had said thank you out of honest graciousness. It actually felt pretty strange, thanking someone not due of obligation.
"What?" he asked immediately. "Why do I have to help?" The blonde boy ignored Masaru's challenging look and returned it with one of scepticism. Tohma was sure it was just make him feel stupid about not being good at simple trade skill. "Any anyway," he continued, lowering his voice until it was almost alluring sounding, "I like just watching you." Tohma blinked a few times at Masaru's muttered answer before laughing lightly. "I never knew you were such a misogynist," he said with no real meaning behind the words. Once his laughter disappeared, Tohma's expression turned inquisitive again. "And I don't think it's girly anyway. Most of my chefs are men," he said with a shrug. Tohma's eyes widened in gentle surprise for a few seconds before his expression became soft. "Well, thank you. That makes me feel.. very special."

Masaru gave a short shrug, though there was a short flicker of hesitation in his eyes before he licked his lips and grinned weakly. "Wouldn't be fair if I left you hanging now~," he replied as he shifted in his position slightly, now leaning the elbow of one arm on the top of the counter behind him. Slowly his expression became more serious. "I worry about my family, like if I was strong enough to take care and protect mom and Chika until he returns." And with 'he', it was pretty obvious that he was talking about his father. Frowning slightly, Masaru stared at the ceiling of the kitchen, his voice was completely void of any bragging. "I think I did a pretty good job, don't you think?" Unconsciously, he let out a quiet sigh. "To be honest, I'm.. worried that they don't need me anymore since dad's back for a while now.." It was nonsense, he knew that. They always needed him, but his family had been fine without him the whole time he was in the Digital World... "See? My worries are nothing against yours," Masaru chuckled, though the sound lacked its usual cheerfulness.
Rolling his eyes in mild sarcasm, the brunette snorted softly. "Whatever," he shot back, slightly amused that Tohma had corrected him instantly. "You know what I mean." And that was all that mattered after all. Shrugging with nonchalance, Masaru couldn't help but grin. The blonde's sceptical expression was funny. "Because it's fun, d'uh," he said matter-of-factly and presented Tohma with a wide grin. "And I wouldn't ruin the perfection of your kitchen all alone~." Though Masaru would lie if he said that he felt bad about messing with the all-so-perfect kitchen. Blinking in soft surprise, he willed away the heat rising in his face and shook his head deliberately. "Nope. Not working," he said firmly before snickering amused. "You're going to help, or at least try to help out."
"A... a miso... a gymnast?" Masaru frowned, looking rather puzzled at Tohma. He... really had no clue what the younger boy had called him just now, but he had the slight feeling that it surely had nothing to do with sports. Pushing that aside, the streetfighter nodded slowly. "Oh, is that so? I... I never knew," he mumbled honestly. From his mother and sister's doings he had always thought it was something more directed towards woman. Not that it mattered right now. It wouldn't happen often that he stood in front of a stove or whatever the hell Tohma wanted him to make. "Yeah, whatever," Masaru muttered beneath his breath, still slightly embarrassed. "I already told ya that you're different. It shouldn't surprise you so much," he shrugged before pushing himself off the counter and turning his attention on the waffle iron which he opened. Looking over the slightly burned pair of waffles, he cleared his throat. "Give me your plate when you're done. The next one's ready~."
oh nice! I've got school today again D: and finals start next week T_T /sob. pfft. I took the time to read about ned kelly D: i don't care what my teacher says, he got a portion of my assignment just to spice things up >_> thanks for mentioning him ;D

Tohma hadn't really expected Masaru to actually answer, so when the brunette began to speak, he stilled his movements in eating so that he could give Masaru his full attention. "That is absolutely ridiculous," Tohma said bluntly, not even bothering add the usual fake hint of politeness in his voice. "I've seen the way your mother and sister are around you. They love and need you more than anything." Tohma hated to admit it, but upon meeting Masaru's family, it was really the first time he had ever been jealous of anyone or anything. Things with his father hadn't changed much since he was a child, and Tohma wasn't blindly hopeful enough to believe that they ever would. Upon hearing the last few words, the blond aristocrat's expression quickly softened. "That's not true.." he said softly, "If anything's important to you, then it's important to me too now."
"Fun for you maybe," he muttered under his breath. Tohma had already given up trying to weasel out of Masaru's ideas, knowing that the brunette would probably just bother him into submission. Rolling his eyes, Tohma leant back onto the central counter. "I couldn't care less about how perfect my kitchen is," he drawled dismissively. Now if Masaru messed with any other of his rooms or laboratories, then that was something that Tohma would care about. If it were anyone else, Tohma would've firmly told them to stop ordering him around in his own house, but because it was Masaru, he just let out a sigh. "Fine," he muttered in a voice that was barely audible.
Tohma blinked a few times at Masaru's lost expression. "Never mind," he said quickly, fighting a smile that was caused by how cute he thought the elder boy was. "Yes, well, now you do," he said matter-of-factly, "And anyway, it's just me so there's nothing to be embarrassed about." Tohma smiled gently to himself, gracious that Masaru thought so. "What? Oh, sure," Tohma said quickly, scooping the last of the waffle into his mouth before holding out the plate to Masaru. "Aren't you having any though?"

Masaru stared in disbelief upon hearing such a blunt reply. He had expected much, but not this of all things. Listening some more, the olive green eyes widened in soft surprise. "Are you... trying to comfort me right now?" he asked in soft curiosity. Even though Masaru didn't want to admit it, Tohma did a good job. "Heh, I'm being stupid, right?" he chuckled quietly, thankful for the blonde's words. "Thanks," he mumbled almost in a whisper, unable to hide a soft smile as he let out a light laugh. Regarding Tohma with an almost shy expression, Masaru hummed quietly in the back of his throat. "Important to you too, you say... Does that mean you're letting me take care of you, Tohma?" Although the brunette never mentioned it, it was possibly one of his biggest fears to be no longer needed by those he loved and needed in his life.
Raising a brow in soft surprise, Masaru couldn't help but snicker in amusement. Tohma had just given him a nice little piece of informtation. "Well, that's good. Because I hate cleaning up~," he grinned teasingly. Leaving a mess behind wasn't hard at all for him, but actually trying to get rid of it? It would take more time than the boy was willing to sacrifice for something banal as cleaning, there were better things to do after all. Pleased that he got his will, Masaru chuckled softly to himself before shooting Tohma a cheerful grin. "Oh, c'mon. Don't make such a face, it won't be that bad~!" he said with confidence, nodding twice to emphasize his own words.
The older boy frowned slightly, feeling kind of left out, though he wasn't exactly eager on asking and making a fool out of himself for not knowing what the word meant. He could just look it up in a dictionary when he got home later. "Shut up, I'm not embarrassed," he clicked his tongue soundlessly, denying the truth. Didn't Tohma get that it was all his fault in the first place? Noone else got him so flustered over something as harmless as cooking. Normally, he wouldn't care what the other person thought, but he couldn't do the same with Tohma. Taking the plate from the younger boy, he quickly slid the waffle on top of it before giving a short shrug. "I've wanted to make you some first," he said casually whilst breaking off a small piece from the waffle, carefully popping it into his mouth. Then he handed Tohma the plate, grinning mischievously. "Stealing from you is better anyway~."
Ahh heath ledger ;A; he was such a great actor. /sob. i'll try to get my hands on the movie! though I don't even know if it had a german release orz D:

"No, I was merely correcting you," Tohma answered matter-of-factly, but the soft smile at the end of his words gave away his true intentions. If he had been able to make Masaru feel better, even by the tiniest bit, then it made Tohma happy. "Yes, well, we all behave stupidly sometimes," he mumbled quietly, averting his eyes as he spoke. The young aristocrat wasn't too proud of a few decisions he had chosen to make, even back then while he was a member of DATS, and even as the years past, Tohma would've been lying if he said he wasn't entirely unbothered. Upon hearing the question, Tohma's blue eyes widened in surprise and he could feel himself begin to blush. "I hardly need taking care of," he said with a gentle scoff, "I can do that perfectly well myself." He ran his fingers through his hair, before continuing in a much softer tone, "But.. if it makes you happy then.. I wouldn't mind too much."
"Well don't think I'm too fond of it either," Tohma muttered quietly. Honestly, Tohma couldn't even remember the last time he cleaned something that wasn't scientific equipment that he forbade anyone else in touching. "I'm not making a face; this is just how I look.." he continued in the same muttering tone, his eyes narrowing slightly into a glare, stopping himself from adding 'when I'm being forced into doing useless things' at the end. Tohma made a soft 'hmph' sound at Masaru telling him to shut up, even though it hadn't angered him at all. "Good," he said, sounding quite stubborn. After all, there was nothing for the brunette boy to be embarrassed about anyway. Tohma decided to ignore Masaru taking food off his plate as he received it again. He stared down at the waffle for a few seconds before looking up at Masaru. "I want fruit with it."

"Seems like even a genius does stupid things now and then, huh?" Masaru muttered beneath his breath upon noticing the lack of eye contact from Tohma's side. As much as he would have liked to ask what the other boy was thinking about right now, the brunette figured that Tohma would speak when he wanted to do, no questions needed then. Chuckling softly in the back of his throat, the streetfighter wasn't surprised to hear a scoff. He couldn't help but like the way Tohma reacted, it was... cute and made him want to protect and take care of the aristocrat even more. Blinking in soft surprise, Masaru felt his own face heating up as he nodded almost shyly. "Mh, yeah. It makes me happy," he mumbled quietly, regarding Tohma with a fond, yet serious smile. "You.. won't regret it." As independant and carefree as he was, Masaru was also loyal to those he cared for, sticking with them as long as they let him.
Snickering softly to himself, Masaru returned Tohma's glare with an amused grin. "Whatever you say, Tohma," he commented deliberately nonchalant before smiling at him innocently. "I like your face even when you're annoyed~." Or maybe even more then than usual because it was like some sort of reward, noone else was able to bother Tohma like he did. Just as stubborn, Masaru snorted dryly. "Yeah." He was ready to admit that the younger boy was the reason for his embarrassment. Turning his attention on the mixing bowl with the left-over batter, Masaru just wanted to prepare the iron for another batch when he felt his eyebrow twitch. Spoiled bastard.. "And?" he asked, angling his head to look at the blonde, deadpanning slightly. "If you want fruit, then go and get it." Nodding towards the fruit bowl on the countertop next to the blonde, Masaru had a vague guess what the other wanted him to do. "I promised you waffles, not fruit. The bowl's closer to you anyway."
yes! i can't imagine someone else than him as joker ;~; pfft, you're such a bad girl ;) yup, i had to. My mother forced me to watch it, she loves movies like that D:

Tohma didn't say anything; he simply nodded. It wasn't like Tohma was fragile or sensitive, and he definitely wasn't delicate. Even though he still didn't really understand why it was Masaru wanted to take care of him, the blonde still went along with it willingly. And even though he was probably the more docile of the pairing, Tohma didn't think that he needed any help in standing up for or defending himself. "Make sure I don't," he murmured softly. In a way it was flattering; after his mother, Tohma had been the one doing the protecting. Perhaps it wouldn't be so bad to have the gesture returned.
Tohma scoffed without unkindness. "Yes, probably because you're usually the one annoying me," he said with frankness, although his expression showed no trace of genuine anger. But then again, Masaru was also one of the few people that Tohma could fully be himself around, without having to put of pretences of politeness or gentleness. The young aristocrat let out an indignant "hmph" sound before turning around, muttering something about unhelpfulness under his breath. "Actually you promised me breakfast; fruit included," Tohma said in return, putting down his plate to pluck and eat grapes off the stem. Tohma couldn't really lie and say that he couldn't cut fruit, considering that he had actually sliced his way around a human body during surgeries. Leaning down with his cheek resting his palm, Tohma wore a small, playful smirk. "I command you to cut me up some fruit."

"Leave it to me," Masaru smiled lightly while he spoke determined. He would make sure that Tohma didn't regret his decision. It wasn't just a matter of pride now, the brunette really wanted to take care of him. Tohma and he have been partners since DATS, and now they were this. He figured it was natural that he wanted to protect the younger boy. They knew eachother for so long, it was only a little different to wanting to take care of his mother and sister. "Just trust me," he mumbled softly.
Masaru nodded without hesitation, grinning mischievously. "Sure, noone else dares to bother you anyway," he shrugged faintly amused, feeling kind of proud that he was the only one. Other people cared for Tohma's status and all, but he didn't. Tohma was Tohma, why should it matter that he was some sort of genius? In the end, he was also only human. "Besides, annoying you is the easiest way to get you to open up~," Masaru mentioned unfittingly cheerful. Watching the other turn around, the brunette gave a light shrug before taking care of the waffle iron again. "Yeah, I promised you breakfast. Waffles, no fruit included," he shot back, not really caring what the other did. Nevertheless, he turned down the heat of the iron, figuring this might take a few moments after having closed the lid again.
"What," Masaru deadpanned, turning to stare at the blonde. He could practically hear the smugness in the other's voice, it bothered him. "Do I look like some personal maid to you?" he muttered beneath his breath. Seeing Tohma's smirk, he felt the urge to wipe off that smug expression of the other's face. Regardless how. The smirk annoyed him more than anything. So Tohma wanted to play games with him? Fine, let's play. Stepping closer to the blonde, Masaru cornered him against the countertop, forcing him to look at him as he lazily placed his hand on the nape of Tohma's neck. "Let's say I do it. Is there anything else you want, Master Tohma?" Masaru asked as he returned the smug expression, putting extra emphasis on the other's title and name.
OTL. i had to look up what a rebdog is D: yeah, i know what you mean. first i get emotionally attached to random characters and then they die LOL.

"Is that so?" Tohma asked slowly, quirking an eyebrow sceptically. Even though it was pretty much true that if he was asked and annoyed repeatedly enough, Tohma would've been willing to admit anything Masaru wanted just to shut up the boy, he still didn't like the fact that it seemed so obvious. "Well you can ask me whatever you like; I won't get mad," he said dismissively, but his voice was soft, "So you don't have to deliberately bother me." It wasn't as if Masaru actually genuinely annoyed him much, but nevertheless Tohma would've preferred a bit of peace and quiet sometimes.
"No, not at all," Tohma drawled innocent, before lowering his voice alluringly, "I already have a bunch of maids who are willing to do whatever it is I want." Despite the fact that he had trying to look serious, he couldn't help but smile just that tiny bit. Part of what he said had been true; there were a few maids who weren't so subtle on the crushes they had on their master, which Tohma usually tried to ignore so that he wouldn't end up hurting their feelings. Automatically Tohma sunk back until his back hit the counter, his sapphire eyes widening slightly. "Personal space," he muttered, trying to turn his head out of the brunette's grip. "N-no, that's alright," he said quickly, refusing to make eye contact as he began to feel his face heat up, "Just fruit's alright."
LOL idk why i started saying rebdog. probably cause i have this friend that calls me rindogga :L i'm probably more emotionally attached to fictional characters then people OTL

Blinking in soft surprise, Masaru was silent for a few seconds. The thought of just simply asking the other had never crossed his mind. Other people asked, but he didn't in most cases. It was boring, asking and getting a reply in return without any resistance at first. "But that's no fun," he admitted earnestly whilst shrugging. "It's more fun to see you getting flustered first." Snickering softly, Masaru grinned sheepishly at the blonde. It wasn't just now that he liked to see sides of Tohma others didn't know about. Already in DATS, it had always felt like a small victory when the younger boy got flustered and dropped his polite facade. The brunette figured that this hadn't changed much over the years. "As a man, it's my duty to make sure you're getting a break from being perfect all the time, y'know?" Masaru grinned widely, sounding almost gentle though.
Furrowing his brows, Masaru didn't look happy upon hearing the other's words. "Well, then ask one of them to cut you some fruit," he muttered under his breath, scoffing quietly. "Stupid Tonma." For some reason, the thought of those maids making advances on Tohma annoyed him. Tohma was supposed to look at him, not at those girls. Masaru didn't like the spark of unreasoned jealousy bubbling up. No. Not at all. The streetfighter had little to no shame at invading Tohma's personal space bubble, leaving the blonde with no chance to escape. Smirking mischievously, Masaru couldn't help but snicker lowly in the back of his throat. "Aw, really~?" he asked in feigned innocent, obviously teasing the blonde. "Too bad. And here I was actually willing to do something for you~" Unable to hide his soft laughter any longer, Masaru simply hugged the blonde and rested his forehead on the other's shoulder. "Gee, you're so easy to tease, Tohma," he laughed softly before taking a step back and regarding Tohma with a soft expression. "Alright, I cut you some fruit. Just tell me which ones."
sorry to say, but this is a weird nickname D: ahh, don't worry, I'm pretty much the same! Whenever I watch movies, anime, w/e I tear up pretty easily OTL. But in reality... nope. Pokerface all the time. :|

Lowering his eyes slightly, Tohma made a small grumbling noise from the back of his throat. "Who gets flustered.." he muttered almost inaudibly beneath his breath. Tohma would've sooner died than admit that Masaru was right. For some reason, he just couldn't keep all calm and composed around the brunette. It wasn't just because Masaru was a brat most the times; the blond aristocrat would've been able to put up with that just fine. Masaru just always had to be special, didn't he? "What on earth makes you think that's your duty?" Tohma asked in obvious disbelief, seriously not following the other boy's logic. Actually no, what logic.
Upon seeing how Masaru reacted, Tohma couldn't help but soften his expression. It was probably extremely selfish, but he had liked the way the brunette responded to his words. It made him feel wanted. "No, it wouldn't be the same," he drawled softly. There was something very gratifying about having the great 'Masaru-sama' actually do something Tohma asked, something that definitely didn't happen with maids who were willingly submissive to the blonde. "Oh, really?" he asked quietly with curiosity and just the tiniest hint of nervousness, "What.. sort of things?" Tohma's eyes widened in gentle surprise and he had to bite down on his tongue to stop even the smallest gasp from escaping. He hadn't gotten the time to respond when Masaru stepped back. "I-I don't mind. Whatever's easiest for you," he answered, mentally cringing as he stammered over the first few words.

Grinning slightly, Masaru couldn't hide the soft snickering from escaping. The disbelieving tone the other boy had used amused him too much, even though his reasons were so obvious! Tohma could be so dense, he figured. "Well, maybe it isn't my duty as a man," the brunette muttered kind of sheepishly before somewhat tilting his head, regarding Tohma with an almost gentle look. "But as your friend it is." He liked it when Tohma wasn't all sparkly smiles and acting perfect. Sometimes though, he really had felt like he was the only one at DATS thinking like that. "But if you still need a reason... I'm just taking care of you~" Masaru chuckled amused, unable to stop himself from grinning cheerful.
"Yeah, they'd smother you with their affection," he retorted, snarling unamusedly beneath his breath. The thought alone made him feel annoyed and bothered. Even though he didn't particularly like doing what Tohma wanted, it was still better than this. Shrugging casually, Masaru quirked an eyebrow upon hearing the younger boy's question. "What do you think~?" he simply asked in return, though with a subtly mischievousness. Actually, he hadn't really thought of anything when he had said it as he had only wanted to tease Tohma some more. But the other's reaction was interesting, getting him curious. "Well, it all would have depended on what you want," Masaru mentioned almost alluringly before smiling nonchalant.
Grinning inwardly, the boy threw a short glance towards the fruit bowl next to the blonde, eyeing the contents skeptical. "Fine," Masaru only muttered before getting a cutting board and a fruit knife, placing both on the surface of the countertop while the brunette stood directly next to the younger aristocrat. "But don't complain if you don't like what I picked." Letting out a short, yet not unkind scoff, Masaru reached for a few strawberries before shooting a meaningful look in the blond's direction. "As long as you don't forget the fight you've promised me, I don't mind doing this, I guess.." he murmured quietly as he started cutting the fruits in halves.
mandarinny sounds cute though <3~ yeah, that's true. rl people can be so difficult to handle at times D: and i finally had my stupid history presentation today! it turned out... okay, though i'm not really happy :/

Even though Tohma didn't really understand as he figured most people would've liked to have someone who seemed perfect all the time in their lives, he nodded to Masaru's words. "Well, thank you," he began gently before his voice became just that bit more indifferent, "But I do have an image to keep up." Tohma sighed, but figured a few seconds later that there was no point in being serious about the matter. "You should be grateful; getting to see me as I really am," he said half-sarcastically.
Tohma laughed lightly. "I don't think I'd call it affection," he brushed off. Tohma figured those girls only liked his status, being the rich, young aristocratic doctor. They'd never seen the sides of him that he had only shown to Masaru; sides that would've been judged as unappealing or inappropriate to those who belonged to and served the upper class. Tohma hummed thoughtfully. "I want a lot of things," he said casually. "A lot of those I could probably get and do myself.. but, I'd rather they came from you."
Upon hearing Masaru's reply, even if it was muttered, Tohma flashed a smile. "Thank you," he said happily, keeping his back against the counter, but turning slightly so that he could still watch the brunette. "I won't," Tohma answered gently. It had taken so much effort to get Masaru to even agree to it, there was no way that the blonde was going to say a single bad word about it. "Oh yes, that," he mumbled, not sounding that enthusiastic, "Don't worry, it'll happen." He let a few seconds pass before clearing his throat, moving his eyes to look aimlessly in front of him. "You think I'm doing the right thing right? Even if it means disobeying my father?"

Masaru rolled his eyes softly. "Whatever, I don't care about your image~," he shrugged casually, with a soft hint of amusement in his words. Getting along with Tohma wasn't always easy, especially when they were both acting stubborn again. But when it came down to it, Masaru preferred their arguments over anything else. "Can't you see how grateful I am?" the boy commented dryly before his expression softened visibly. "Though, I'm glad to know the real you," he admitted, smiling earnestly.
"And what exactly?" Masaru couldn't stop himself from asking. His voice sounded curious, probably more so than he liked to admit. If Tohma already mentioned that he could get or do those things himself, it wouldn't hurt him to just spill the beans. Masaru kept his eyes on Tohma, a faint grin gracing his features. "Give it a try," he mentioned teasingly, shrugging somewhat. "A man has to challenge his luck sometimes to get what he wants~!" And it wasn't like he would bite off Tohma's head. Sure, he certainly wouldn't be happy with the other's demands, but the worst that could happen was turning him down.
Upon seeing the other's happy smile out of the corner of his eyes, Masaru could feel his face heating up. This was weird. Did it really mean so much to the blonde? He was just cutting fruit, it wasn't anything special, just an annoying task. "And you better give it your all," he added quickly, nodding to emphasise his words before cutting in silence. After having cut the strawberries, the streetfighter picked up a banana, only pausing in his doings when he heard Tohma speak up again. "Huh?" Why did the other ask those questions all of a sudden? "Of course you're doing the right thing," Masaru replied immediately and turned to look at the blonde. "If you do what your old man wants, you'll only make yourself unhappy." Furrowing his brows, his expression became serious. "Geez, stop thinking so much," he sighed as he started peeling the banana, putting the yellow fruit on the cutting board. "You can't please everyone, y'know."
