Character information
Name: Hikari Yagami
Season: Digimon Adventure/02
Species: Human
Biography:
For Hikari Yagami, her life was just beginning after she had saved the world and the Digital World with Takeru and her friends.
Her social life exploded, as she had more time to spend living like a regular growing teenage girl. She was lucky to have Gatomon by her side throughout the changes, while she went through the stress of keeping up with her schooling, newspaper club (as a photographer) and cheer-leading.
As Hikari got older, and more of her friends (coughMiyakocough) were into dating, Hikari didn't really have her eyes on anyone. She has never dated, and hasn't even had her first kiss with someone. Even at the age of eighteen, though nobody would believe that.
Now as she's getting ready for College, Hikari has moved out into a small studio and works part-time in an office for a small local newspaper. She's working her way up to become one of their main photographers while she majors in Photography and get a minor in Elementary Education (She doesn't really understand why, but something is just pulling her towards that area)
Role play example:
There was no bell, no assigned seats, and no one looking like they were bored and waiting for the day to be over already. Hikari found it surprising and pleasant, as she glanced around the room. Her eyes started to wonder through the rows, and found a chair that was close enough that she wouldn't get distracted, but not too close to seem too eager to learn everything – though she was.
College... It definitely is different than High School.
Her first class was an English class, and as she pulled out her notebook computer, she quickly turned it on, making sure to mute the volume. She couldn't imagine turning on a computer or typing to have a loud beeping or alarm go off in the middle of class. She couldn't stand the chance of being embarrassed like that.
There were ten minute before the class was starting, and more students started to swarm in. Hikari kept glancing at the door, noticing and smiling at each classmate that she had received eye-contact with. She started to check her e-mail, and make sure that her schedule for the day was all correct. She didn't want to worry Gatomon again... The last time that she was worried, Hikari had ended up being worried when she came back to find out that her Digimon had went off to find her. Being in a slightly different area of Odaiba, it didn't please Hikari at all. It had frightened her almost to death – though, in her heart, she knew that Gatomon was strong and could handle herself.
As the classroom was getting situated, Hikari watched as the door was slammed closed. Her eyes wondered towards the figure that had caught her attention. It was the Professor, and with his crazy curly blonde hair tied in a ponytail, and the blazer over the too-casual shirt with slacks, Hikari realized this was going to be an interesting semester.
Under her breathe, before a large grin was sketched on her face, she mumbled, “I'm going to like this class.”
