Characters: Takuya Kanbara and anyone else who wants to join~ Time: 4:00pm Location: Odaiba Beach
Takuya awoke rather late, around 12:30-1:00pm. That, however, didn't stop him from taking his time getting ready for the day he'd planned. He slowly got up and got dressed in his red and black swimsuit and orange t-shirt, throwing a beach towel over his shoulder. He made his way downstairs and grabbed a couple drinks in a small cooler, carrying it out by the front door, slipping his feet into his flip-flops. Nobody was home so he scribbled down a quick note to leave for his parents telling them his plan for the day.
The plan...he'd been working on it for a week. Not like it was tough work. Just sending out texts, trying to figure out who was doing what. He still had no positive answers...but that didn't stop him from going. He'd sent a mass text message to all his friends asking them if they wanted to take a trip to the beach. Have a group hang out. He said those friends could invite any of their friends, and so on. He didn't care who all went...he just wanted to see some friends.
He made his way to the train station in Shibuya, cooler in tow. He got on the train and he was off, bound for a long ride. It reminded him of the train ride he'd taken to the Digital World. He leaned back and smiled, letting the memories rush back, barely believing it'd been 7 years since their trip.
Lost in thought, he almost missed his stop. He made it off the train just in time and made his way to the beach. Setting his cooler down and laying out the towel still sitting on his shoulder. He kicked off his flip-flops and looked around before laying down, flat on his back, on the towel. He was a little early, despite being late. He smiled as the warmth of the sunlight covered his entire body.

Jenrya’s eyes gazed upon the floor; he was avoiding any unnecessary eye contact with the passengers. It had been far too long since Jenrya had time to himself; school had taken over most of his life. Academics, Martial Arts, and preparing for college, he was shocked he even had time to breathe. However school had finally come to an end and it was now time for him to enjoy summer. Of course with the help of Terriermon he was able to play a day at the beach. Terrier was prompt on top of Jenrya’s head and let his ears hang beside Jenrya’s. After about an hour the train finally came to a stop at Odaiba. Jenrya pulled his backpack over his shoulder, got up from his seat, and made his way out the door.
As soon as Jenrya stepped off the train he dashed for the stairs, and out into the surface. The sun was shining down upon his and Terriermon. Lucky enough for him, Terriermon could be used as portable shade. He gazed out in front of him and looked out toward the ocean. The vast water glistened from the sun. He gazed around at the numerous amounts of people that were gathering at the beach. There so many smiling faces, that it brought a sense of joy to him. After a few moments, he stopped gazing at the beach and looked toward his surrounding area. After believing it was safe enough, he crossed the street and headed down to the beach. He immediately kicked off his sandals, and pressed his feet into the sand. Terriermon jumped off of Jenrya’s head and plopped down onto the sand. “You know, Jenrya’s it’s about time we have some fun,” remarked Terriermon.
Jenrya wanted to scold Terriermon for speaking around civilians, but he knew Terriermon was right. Sometimes you need to just let loose and have a little fun. Jenrya put his sandals back on and headed a little close towards the water. Terriermon followed right behind. Lucky enough for them, most of the bystanders were caught up in their own fun that they didn’t seem to take any interest in Terriermon. “Why don’t we build a sand castle?” questioned Jenrya. The two of them sat down in the sand for a while, attempting to build sand castle. However each attempt ended in failure, as each of their completed castles looked nothing more than a pile of sand.
Terriermon seemed to be getting flustered at the idea of making sand castle by hand, and took it upon himself to try a different approach. Terriermon began to spin himself around before creating a small tornado. The tornado was small in size but picked up a good size of sand, and carried if off. Jenrya noticed the sand was flying in the direction of a young guy, around his age, who was relaxing in the sun. Jenrya jumped to his feet and chased behind it. “Hey you, look out.” Shouted Jenrya.
(I hope you don't mind me posting here. Since no one else did, I thought I would attempt to tag along and roleplay here. o.O)

Post by Ken Ichijouji on Jul 16, 2011 23:21:45 GMT -4
It had taken some time to get away from his mother's fussing, but after he had told her for the fifth time that, yes, he has put sunscreen on his back and gotten all of his back, she let him go. Closing the door to his apartment, Ken wondered if any of his friends mothers were so protective. Probably not, he decided and set off down the hall and into the elevator. The cool air felt uncomfortable against his bare legs. Normally he would wear pants, even during the summer and the swimming trunks left him feeling exposed.
Pulling his bag and umbrella closer against his side, Ken exited the elevator and out the building. The air felt better, despite being so hot, and made his walk to the train station somewhat pleasant. Though the train ride itself was nearly unbearable. Ken had near no room to move once the train started moving. Apparently half the town had decided that today was a good day to go to the beach, too.
Finally, Ken made it to his destination. A quick search of the beach had shown his friends were no where to be seen. Finding a clear spot, he shoved his umbrella into the ground, laid out his towel, and pulled Minomon out of his bag. The tiny Digimon bounced around in the sand, excited to be out at the beach. Ken settled down onto his towel and began to ramble to his Digimon about how sand is formed.

Takuya was pulled out of his almost slumber on the beach by a shout. “Hey you, look out.” He looked up to see a small tornado heading towards him. His eyes bugged as he jumped up and ran, tornado in tow. He continued on for a short distance before smaking his hand against his forehead. "This is stupid!" He shouted, then he jumped out of the tornado's path, landing in the sand, sending a ton flying on some guy sitting under an umbrella. The tornado went past and carried on for a little ways before dying down.
Takuya looked up and coughed up some sand. "Bleh! I think I got some sand...everywhere!" He exclaimed. He looked back towards the kid who had gotten his attention, "Thanks for the heads up!" He hollered and waved, then looked at the kid he's splattered sand all over. "Oh, man! I'm so sorry!" He scrambled to his feet trying to get sand off the guy's towel. "I didn't mean to, I swear!" He said looking up at the kid and stopped talking. He knew that face. "Wait. I know you! You're that Ichijouji kid! The genius and soccer superstar!" Takuya now had a face of shock and awe, "You're like...my idol! Soccer-wise at least...I don't think I could ever be the genius." He said scratching the back of his head. "Ah, but I'm rambling! I'm Takuya! It's great to meet ya!" He said enthusiastically, extending a hand to shake, and grinning.
(ooc; OHGOD. I'M SO LATE. I'M SORRY. ;A;)

Jenrya followed a few feet behind the small tornado trying to grab the attention of the kid. After a few seconds Jenrya stopped in his tracks when he was sure he was able to catch the kid's attention. He couldn't help but smirk as he stood from a far watching the kid run from a tornado. When he was finally able to get out of the way of the sand, Jenrya noticed another kid was caught up in the action as well. Jenrya cringed at the thought of more people having to be drawn into the issue. Terriermon slowly walked over to Jenrya and wrapped his arms around his leg. "Is it possible for me to take you anywhere without you causing trouble?" questioned Jenrya. Terriermon just looked up towards Jenrya, and slowly began to smile. "Momentai." Terriermon remarked.
Jenrya shook his head, after listening to Terriermon's remark. "Come on, we better go apologize." said Jenrya. Within a matter of seconds Terriermon jumped onto Jenrya, and wrapped around his neck. Jenrya slowly jogged over to the two kid's that were caught in the action. Without even looking at the kids, Jenrya immediately bowed before them. "I'm so sorry about that," remarked Jenrya. "Please forgive me." Jenrya held his bow position. Terriermon looked around and noticed a small digimon playing in the sand. "Look, he's got a digimon as well." whispered Jenrya. Jenrya immediately looked up and noticed the small digimon playing in the sand. He looked over towards the kid under the umbrella. For some reason, his face looked awfully familiar, but Jenrya couldn't figure where he had seen him before.

ooc: This is just so that Koushiro can realistically come to the beach too~ So yeah, just ignore this until his hiatus is over :'D
Re-adjusting the light pink straw hat to sit on a particular angle on her head, Mimi muttered beneath her breath, complaining about hoe technology never worked for her. "Stupid phone," she grumbled, pulling out a cell phone from her bag and flipping it open, only to stare at the blank unlighted screen. Sighing, she snapped the device shut before making her way up the very very long staircase that would lead to her most tech-savvy friend's apartment.
Mimi still had her model figure, but she wasn't particularly fit, so her patience had ran out about the same time her stamina did which was just when she reached the right door. "He better be home. I didn't come all this way to invite him to the beach to have him stand me up," Mimi mumbled quietly to herself. Reaching up, she knocked with the back of her knuckles. Her other hand fanned her face before rising to shield her eyes from the sun that just seemed to keep getting brighter as the day when on.
Mimi loved the beach, and she wanted to feel the sand beneath her feet and feel the sea-smelling breeze as soon as possible. She began to tap her sandal-covered foot impatiently. "Koushiro!~"
