Characters:Any. Open. Time:Mid afternoon - Late night. Location: Juri's family Tavern in Shibuya.
After a few days of working and cleaning her family's business that she now owned, Juri was content. She had put out a few ads in random spots in hopes to revive this place. And she had hired a few people, finally picking a few select workers. And now the place was about to be opened.
The tables sparkled, after being cleaned off. No dust fell on them, and the floor was devoid of the blood that was once there a few days ago.
Leaning against the counter, looking bored, she eyed one of her workers. " Are the drinks all set up? And is the freezer working fine? " Determined to open this place up, she asked, somewhat anxious. And it was obvious.
The worker nodded her head, hair falling in her eyes. " Everything is set. " With that confirmed, Juri moved to remove the closed sign that remained there for months. A smile was present on her face, even though it looked empty. But she couldn't look too sad, otherwise this place would get bad reputation already.
She moved to sit on on of the new bar stools, and looked content as she picked up one of the new menus, her smile growing wider as she flipped it open. " These look great. " The smile was directed to the person who had made them. So far, things seemed great. Hopefully this place would be as successful as it was before, if not better.

Jenrya was surprised at the amount of people found downtown at this late of an hour. He walked out from a nearby music store, and proceeded down the streets avoiding any eye contact, with nearby citizens. After all, at this time of hour, you never know what kind of wacko's you could run into. Terriermon was strapped to Jenrya's back and had the look of a stuffed rabbit backpack. Each time Terriermon, tried to speak, Jenrya gentle elbowed him, to keep him quiet. It was best to try to avoid any unnecessary attention.
Jenrya came to an abrupt stop at a nearby traffic light and awaiting for his turn to cross. A little boy who was with his mother began to point and stare in awe at Terriermon. "Mommy I want one just like that." he remarked. He let go of his mother's hands and walked over to Jenrya. He reached his hands out and grabbed hold of Terriermon's ears. The little boys mother walked over to him and began to pull him away from Terriermon, but as the mother pulled at the little boy, he pulled at Terriermon's ears. Terriermon began to cringe with each tug, after a few moments he couldn't bare the pain anymore.
"Would you let go! How would you like it if someone pulled at your ears?" Shouted Terriermon. "You wouldn't would you?" The little boys mouth dropped and he released his grip over Terriermon's ears. The boy's mother was astonished at the fact of a talking bunny, however a few moments later this astonishment changed to anger. "Monster, it's a talking monster!" Bystanders turned their attention towards Jenrya. The light flashed green and Jenrya dashed across the street, hoping to get away from the onlookers. A couple of the bystanders began to chase after Jenrya. "Couldn't you have just stayed quiet for a couple more seconds?" Questioned Jenrya. He turned a swift right trying to get away from the crowd. "Momentai." remarked Terriermon.
After running for a few minutes, Jenrya finally had to take a break to catch his breath. He decide to enter a nearby tavern to avoid everyone. Jenrya looked around the bar to take in the scenery and noticed there weren't many people inside, it must have just opened. "What are we doing here? Your not old enough to drink." whispered Terriermon. Jenrya elbowed Terriermon's side once more. "Quiet you, your suppose to be a backpack, backpacks don't talk." answered Jenrya. "Well just stay here for a bit, until the crowd is gone." Jenrya walked over to a nearby booth table. He took Terriermon off his back and placed him beside him, as he sat down at the booth.

The place was crowded, at least more than she would have expected on a first day. But she wasn't complaining, because she wasn't tired, yet. She handed out menus to mostly people she never saw. Sometimes she'd recognize a local, but other than that she saw no one of interest, yet.
Noticing someone new walked in, she grabbed a menu, causing her ponytail to swish to the side for a moment. She seemed to be wearing a normal uniform, which consisted of a shirt that had the tavern's name on it, and red shorts.
Menu in hand, she walked up to the newcomer's booth with a smile on her face, which grew wider at the sight of someone she did recognize.
" Jenrya? " She asked, blinking, although the smile was still intact. " It's been a good while, how have you been? " Saving her concern for why he was here, she pushed it aside for a moment.

Jenrya pulled his wallet out of his pocket and checked the amount of money he had inside still. "We might as well get something to eat while we wait." remarked Jenrya. Terriermon smiled in agreement. Jenrya placed the wallet back into his pocket and awaited for one of the servers.
He looked around the tavern searching for a server when one of the workers caught his attention. She slowly began to walk towards his direction. "~She looks so familiar. I know i've seen this girl before.~" thought Jenrya. As the woman began to get closer and closer and old familiar face popped in his head. "~It's Juri.~" he thought.
Juri had approached Jenrya with a smile, and an all to familiar voice filled his years. "Juri." remarked Jenrya. Images from his adventure with the gang flash through his mind, in an instant. He smiles towards Juri's direction. "I've been good, how about you?" question Jenrya. "It's been a while."
Terriermon jumps out from beside Jenrya, and jumps on to the table. He looks towards Juri. "What do we got to do to get food around here?" questioned Terriermon. Jenrya looks over towards Terriermon and begins to scold him. "Terriermon, don't be so rude." remarked Jenrya. Terriermon begins to laugh and walks closer toward Jenrya. "Momentai, Jenrya."

She had to keep herself from remembering the bad times in the Digital World, and she was doing okay for the most part. Her smile stayed in tact as she nodded to his words. " Good to hear. And well, I'm okay now, but I could have been doing better. " She admitted, not wanting to really talk about it, because there was the chance she would get even more emotional.
She nearly jumped too, when Terriermon came out of the backpack. Placing a hand on her chest to steady herself, she handed them a menu. " There's not much to eat, yet, since we just opened up. But we have a few select items on the menu you might want. " She confirmed this with a nod.
She wanted to ask Jenrya how he got his partner back, and you could see a hint of envy in her eyes. But she tried not to think about it, because this wasn't the place, and she was sure a few people noticed the Digimon. Trying not to panic, she just waited for what they were to order.

As Juri handed Jenrya a menu he noticed something had been eating away at her. It seemed that something was on her mind, but he thought the best course of action would to avoid that subject. He didn't want her talking about something that was bothering her, it might just make it worse. Jenrya looked over the menu for a few seconds trying to find a meal. An awkward silence filled the air for a few short moments. He handed the menu back towards Juri unsure of what to get.
"I'm not really sure what to order, everything looks fine to me," remarked Jenrya. "Why don't you just whip us up something, we'll be fine with anything." Jenrya smiled towards Juri for a moment before turning his attention back towards Terriermon. He reached his arms out, grabbed him around the waist and brought him onto his lap. He hugged him close to his stomach.
"Terriermon, I can't have you jumping around on the table, Your suppose to be a stuffed animal, and stuffed things don't talk." whispered Jenrya. "You might scare the other customers, i'm sure some of them still remember the events that took place several years ago." Jenrya turned back towards Juri once more. As he gazed at Juri, he recalled all the memories that were created when the D-Reaper entered the real world. It made him realize how long it's been since him and Juri seen each other. He shook his head in an attempt to clear his mind and turned to Juri once more. "If it wouldn't be to much trouble could I get a glass of water?" Jenrya reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone. He glanced at the clock real quick and than slipped his phone back into his pocket.

She figured he would have noticed, and she was glad that he didn't bring it up. She didn't want to be upset her first day working, and all that. Besides, it would give this place bad rep. And it didn't really need that, yet.
Taking out a pad, she nodded, having a idea. Her head nodded to Jenrya's scolding of his Digimon, somewhat, and her hands wrote down his order, including a surprise and the water he asked for. Walking over to the counter, she handed her cook the slip she wrote on. " Our special, and a glass of water. " She requested, with a smile, causing the cook to nod and of of the waiters to fetch a glass. " Add ice. " Calling that out before the waiter vanished.
Before she had a chance to walk back over to Jenrya's table, or a new one, she looked over to a customer yelling at another and she looked to Jenrya, and then the disturbance again. Sighing, she walked over to the pair. " If you're going to be loud, take it outside. " She offered, and just got a glare for them both of them.
One of them spoke up, walking closer to her. " And who are you to tell me what to do? " He asked, sounding like a typical tough guy. Still, it looked like he could snap Juri like a twig, and if she insisted, he was most going to do so.
Juri stood there, nearly glaring back. " If you don't leave, I can call the police. " She was acting brave, and it just seemed like a act.
The other guy's eyebrow raised, as he himself walked over. " And what are the police going to do? " It seemed he was just as much as a burden. Looks like Juri was in a fix.

Jenrya’s eyes followed Juri’s movements as she headed off to place the order. He eyes began to wander and gaze around the tavern. He slowly began to smile, at the thought of Juri being able to manage this place on her own. He slowly began to get lost in thought and reminisce on how much Juri has changed from then and now. His train of thought was interrupted by a couple of customers yelling at one another. He glanced over at the disturbance. He noticed that one of the guys was inching his was closer to Juri as she tried to calm the situation.
“This looks bad Terriermon,” remarked Jenrya. “I bet those bone heads are itching for a fight, and Juri might be the target.” Jenrya took Terriermon off his chest and placed him inside the backpack. “Stay here.” He remarked. He got up from his seat and dashed over in front of Juri and faced the two angered customers. “Stay behind me,” he whispered. He took a one step forward and watched the men closely. “The lady asked you nicely to leave,” remarked Jenrya. “Why don’t you guys show some respect and just get out of here.” Jenrya held his position, trying to show no ounce of fear.
Jenrya began to smell a faint fragrance coming from the men, alcohol. He looked over to the area where the men where sitting and noticed the empty alcohol bottles left behind. He slowly began to whisper under his breath, hoping Juri would hear him. “This isn’t good, those guys are drunk, I don’t think they’re going to reason with words. But I want to avoid any meaningless violence as well.” As the two men stepped forward, Jenrya took a few steps back. “Juri, call the cops,” he whispered. “I’ll hold them off until they get here.” Jenrya stopped walking backwards and stood in place. He stared down the two man once more. It appeared that tonight, just wasn’t a lucky night for him.

Her eyes may have went over to Jenrya more than once, and when she noticed him walking over, she looked relieved to say the least.
When he walked over, she looked scared again as he placed himself in the middle. She didn't want him to be hurt, and she tried to speak up against him getting in their way, but she couldn't find her voice in this situation.
Both of the guys looked like they were about to laugh. One of them walked inches closer to Jenrya and pushed him away slightly by poking him in the chest. " You don't look so tough. You may act it, but do you really think we're going to take orders from a chump like yourself? Hah! I doubt you could take the both of us on. " His partner nodded in the background, laughing in a cocky manner. Of course they were drunk.
Hearing Jenrya's words, Juri scooted away unnoticed as they focused on him, hiding herself away as she picked up the phone, dialing the number for the police, and told them what was going on quietly, glad she wasn't noticed. She moved out slightly from under the counter. Not being seen, she was glad that she could still watch without being noticed.

Jenrya held his ground for a few minutes, while Juri slipped out of sight in order to call the cops. Jenrya eyed one of the customers as he slowly inched his way closer to him. "I only need to hold them off for about seven minutes." thought Jenrya. "It shouldn't take that long for the police to make their way here." While lost in thought, the customer got close enough to poke Jenrya in the chest. Jenrya immediately jumped backwards and placed his arms in front of himself and took a defensive position.
Jenrya kept a close watch on the drunken customer, and his partner who was a few inches behind him. "I told you guys already, I don't want any trouble." remarked Jenrya. "Why don't you guys just leave." Much to Jenrya's luck, the customers didn't seem like they wanted to reason with him. Terriermon watched from the his spot inside the backpack. Without much thought, Terriermon jumped out from the bag and in between Jenrya and the drunken customer.
"Terriermon, what are you doing!?" shouted Jenrya. Terriermon leaped into the air and headbutted the drunken customer in the stomach causing him to fall back a couple of steps. Terriermon gentle landed back on his feet, a few inches from the drunken man. "Calm down Jenrya." remarked Terriermon. "The Guy is drunk, he won't even remember tonight." Jenrya took Terriermon's words into consideration. He was right, the men weren't going to remember anything from this evening.
